I post these on my Instagram story almost every day (LOL), so I figured it was finally time to add this recipe to my blog. The obsession is real! I am confident you will love these as much as I do.
2 scoops plant based protein powder (roughly 70g). I used "Vega Protein +Greens Powder".
1/2 cup hemp seeds
1/2 cup tahini (or almond butter)
4 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp coconut sugar
4 tbsp chocolate chips (enjoy life brand if you want dairy-free)
3 tbsp maple syrup (I used E.S Smith no sugar added syrup, but you can also use 100% pure organic maple syrup)
1 large overly ripe banana, mashed.
Pre mash your overly ripe banana for easier mixing.
Add all ingredients to a large bowl, including your mashed banana and mix until well combined. It should form into a texture that allows you to roll the batter into balls.
Roll into 10 balls and place in freezer-safe container.
*Must store in freezer for appropriate texture.
When ready to eat, take out of freezer and let thaw for 3-5 minutes.
